We noticed something.
Over the years we’ve been called into very different rooms — a board that had stopped deciding, two colleagues who could no longer speak, a family business at breaking point, a school where small fallings-out kept escalating — and perhaps a version of the one you’re carrying now.
Underneath, it was almost always the same thing. Not that people had stopped caring — usually they cared deeply. Something quieter had happened: fear, assumptions, unspoken expectations, worn-down trust and the sheer weight of pressure had begun pulling people apart. And movement towards what mattered had stopped.
