This is formation, not a course. It is not simply skill acquisition, but the developing of who you are becoming, what you can increasingly notice, hold and do, and how wisely you exercise responsibility. Resolving capacity can be developed, formed and practised through experience and relationship.
What resolving leadership requires.
Face reality
See what is actually happening, and name the gap between what is and what matters.
Bring hope
Hold a credible sense that something worthwhile remains possible, and a way towards it.
Earn trust
Warmth, competence and resolve, made visible over time. Trustworthiness is earned; trust is given.
Turn towards what matters
Engage rather than avoid, attack or withdraw, and turn towards the people within it.
Find pathways and strengthen agency
Make credible next steps, and help people believe they can influence what happens next.
Learn, and build it in others
Use feedback to adapt, and help teams become able to do the same without you.
Written around outcomes and capability. The deeper formation architecture and practice, and the community that carries it, live in the Lab and the Resolution Club.
